"I feel so lucky to be able to have my voice heard in government," said Bricksburg resident Joe Studs. "Most other minifig nations don't have this level of democracy."
Votes are still being counted; returns from various areas of the country are slowly trickling in today. The Office of Elections is expected to announce a winner this evening.
Exit polls put President Marie Bricks slightly ahead Conservative Party candidate Francis David. Socialist Elizabeth Fancourt trails both front-runners. If a candidate does not receive over 50% of the vote, a runoff election will be held on December 27.
Exit poll results:
Marie Bricks 49%
Francis David 46%
Elizabeth Fancourt 5%
